Alternatives to Microsoft Universal Print
- Investigate the market for suitable AppSource extensions
The first suggestion for alternatives is do not reinvent the wheel. A few years ago, if you had the chance to search the AppSource marketplace for solutions enabling direct printing to local or network printers, you might have fumbled with one or two apps. If you perform the same search today, you will find more than 30 of them, using several printing services, such as PrintNode (https://www.printnode.com/en) or Printix (https://printix.net/), just to name a couple. If your label printer is, for example, from Zebra (https://www.zebra.com/us/en.html), you could search for
