Summary
In this chapter, we have seen the simple yet intuitive features offered by Photoshop for creating and editing motion files.
First, we explored some key concepts related to motion files, namely time, in the form of frames and how they relate to the duration of our animations and videos. We also explored some of the specifications to be aware of when posting videos online, such as maximum file size, duration, and loop settings for animations.
Then, we created new documents to house our motion projects, complete with safe frames and a dedicated timeline for adding assets, all of which can be saved as PSD files. Starting with just a logo and layers that we created from scratch, such as color fills and text layers, we organized them in the Layers panel specifically for animating.
