An Active Directory environment with replication issues is a disaster. It can cause all sorts of problems. Active Directory uses a multi-master database. A change made on one domain controller should replicate on the other domain controllers to maintain consistency. ;There are two types of replication in an Active Directory environment:
- Intra-site replication: ;Replication between domain controllers in the same Active Directory site
- Inter-site replication: Replication between domain controllers in different Active Directory sites ;
