Time for action — joining a group in Mahara for Beginners

Let's join an open membership group:

1. 1. Log in to http://maharaforbeginners.tdm.info with your username and password.

2. 2. Click on Groups on the main menu bar.

3. 3. Click on the Find groups submenu tab.

4. 4. You will see all the groups that are available to you in http://maharaforbeginners.tdm.info. Browse through the groups until you find a group called ePortfolios: Best Practice. Remember, you can always use the Search box to search for any group you want, if you already know its name.

5. 5. When you have found this group, you will see that you have the option Join this group. This button is present on all open membership groups. Click on Join this group.

6. 6. That's all there is to it. You have just joined your first Mahara group.
