Setting up your team – inviting collaborators on GitHub
Ever been to a party? It’s much more fun when you invite friends, right? Now, think of your project on GitHub as a party. It gets better when more people, such as your teammates or friends, join in and contribute. So, how do you invite them to your GitHub project party? Let’s walk through it.
Finding the invitation spot
- Open your web browser and head to your GitHub project page. In our case, it is called
MyFirstRepo
. Now, look for a tab called Settings in the top-right corner of the page and give it a click. This is like opening the doors to your party. Consider this as step zero. - Once you’re in the settings, look for a section on the left called Access. Click on Collaborators. This section is like your guest list.
