Throughout this chapter, we looked at some of the most important elements that comprise the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales application. We reviewed the entities that make up the functionality of the Sales app; the out-of-the-box defined sales processes and their scope, as well as their intended usage and the capabilities to extend them; and finally, dashboards and their reporting capabilities.
Finally, we looked at some of the light marketing features available for Sales. Keep in mind that salespeople are primarily focused on closing sales, so they will not perform the more extensive marketing functions available in the Marketing app, as described in Chapter 7, Dynamics 365 Marketing.
At this point, you should have a good understanding of the features available in this module and the capabilities that support salespeople and their managers.
