Event – Data change or Schedule
In the previous sections, we learned about the basic anatomy of an AppSheet Bot, which is built with multiple primary components – an Event and a Process. As discussed, we need to define the Event to tell the Bot when and how should start its work. Now, let’s have a look at the Event component.
Creating a new Bot
Let’s get started with the basic process to create a Bot. Go to Automation | Bots:

Once you find the Bots tab, click on the + New Bot button to create a new Bot. Once the new Bot is created, the next step is to name this Bot. Select a name you believe is appropriate, but we suggest that the name of the Bot should be self-explanatory to tell you what kind of jobs this Bot is going to manage, such as Sending an email when a new request is in place:
