Technical requirements

To assist you in learning about view types, we have prepared a sample app that you can access from the portfolio site for this book. You can find the Chapter 03_01 sample app at https://www.appsheet.com/templates/sample?appGuidString=e158a182-2b72-4fcc-818d-78c5cb7ecf6c to follow along. This sample app contains all the available view types produced using the same dataset on national parks in the US.

While you go through this chapter, we suggest you try out the hands-on exercises using our sample app from the aforementioned portfolio page. This is the most efficient way you can learn about each option for the different types of views. We also recommend that you revisit this chapter while you are developing apps, as we have organized this chapter to work as a guidebook and/or documentation for you.
