Improving Reliability
This chapter covers the specifics of reliability engineering in AWS. The following four areas are important to ensure that you are leveraging reliability best practices in AWS: checking the foundations, assessing the architecture, adapting to change, and adapting to failure.
Being able to continuously improve the reliability of existing workloads in the cloud and adapt to an ever-changing environment is key to meeting your business objectives.
Now, prior to reading the current chapter, it will be beneficial if you go through Chapter 6, Meeting Reliability Requirements, first. The key concepts from Chapter 6 are important to consider when designing your workloads for reliability. Therefore, this chapter will make constant references to Chapter 6 without explicitly repeating the concepts.
