Technical requirements
To complete the recipes in this chapter, you’ll need to have created an Atlassian Cloud site with both Jira and Confluence installed. Connecting Confluence to Jira was covered in the Connecting Confluence recipe in Chapter 1.
In addition, a Jira administrator and possibly a Jira project administrator must verify you have the Browse Projects permission enabled for the project you want to work with. A Confluence Space administrator must verify that you are in the correct group and have enabled Pages, whiteboard, and Smart Links, as illustrated in the following screenshot:

Now that we’ve covered the prerequisites, let’s start by linking Confluence to a Jira project.
