Summary

In this chapter, we have covered the networking objectives. We've covered how to design Azure Virtual Networks. We've discussed IP addresses and Azure DNS. We also covered when to use the Azure Application Gateway, Azure Traffic Manager, and Azure Load Balancer. We then looked at designing external connectivity for Azure VNets using different VPN connections, and finally, we talked about designing different security strategies.

In the next chapter, we will cover hybrid applications.
