Time for action – configuring Google AdMob

Perform the following steps to configure Google AdMob:

1. If you have not already done so, create a Google AdMob account by visiting http://www.google.co.uk/ads/admob/.

2. Log in to your AdMob account and start the registration of your app by selecting Sites & Apps | Add Site/App.

3. From the next screen select your platform. If you are making full benefit of Appcelerator and distributing to multiple platforms, you will have to enter the details for all applicable platforms.

   

4. Complete the listing details for your chosen platform and click on Continue.

   Tip

   If you have not released your app yet, just enter http:// against the App Store URL field.

5. You do not need to download the SDK; the Appcelerator module includes a supported AdMob SDK. Click on Go To Sites/Apps.

6. View your app on Sites/Apps | Sites & Apps.

7. We now need to configure the adverts that will be served. Press the Configure button under the Mediation column. Select the size of advert and the refresh...
