The Workshop: A Quick Overview
The workshop requires a big enough space where a long paper roll (minimum of 8 meters) can be attached to the wall, where there is enough room for the people involved to walk up and down near the wall, but also at distance for a better holistic view. Seats should not be easily available, in order to stimulate participation and focus:

The workshop consists of using domain events and their temporal flow to build a model of the current shared understanding of the business. Each actor contributes to the part of the system he knows the most, which is always interrelated with other parts. At the end of the workshop, everything will be organized together in a coherent timeline stream, providing a detailed model of the current system.
After sorting out the logistics, the most important thing for a successful workshop is having the right people involved. Essentially, there are two kinds...
