A built-in scenario for the BPMN template – the Power Automate export
Now that we have covered BPMN in general, the question is whether there is more we can do than just document business processes. The answer is yes. The Visio team has added an extension to the Visio desktop client in Visio Plan 2, so a flow can be attached to Microsoft Power Automate and then exported. This allows us to model and design a Power Automate flow “offline” in Visio and then attach it to a specific Microsoft 365 environment.
Important note
Microsoft made this feature exclusively for Visio Plan 2. That means it is not available in Visio web editions (even if you have Visio Plan 2 attached to your user account), nor is it available in Visio Professional.
