Attaching a workflow with the service catalog
You should know that there are three ways to raise any request: By the service catalog, record producer, or order guide. However, primarily for fulfilling request requirements, the service catalog should be used. For maintaining a process in the service catalog, a workflow is attached with it.
Getting ready
To step through this recipe, you should have an active Service-Now instance, valid credentials, and an admin role.
How to do it...
Open any standard web browser and type the instance address.
Log in to the Service-Now instance using the credentials.
On the left-hand side, types maintain in the search box and Service-Now will search Maintain Items module for you now under Service Catalog application select Maintain Items module as give in the following screenshot:
You will now see a list of catalog items. If you want to attach a new workflow with the catalog item, then you can click on any catalog item but for now...
