Applying logical conditions
Using logical conditions is a way to apply decision-making for your bots. Bots can make rule-based decisions, and these rules can be based on a number of scenarios. Automation Anywhere offers a plethora of options to base decisions on. The following is a breakdown of all the scenarios that conditions can be based on:

As you can see, the opportunities for applying automation decisions are wide and varied. Getting back to our walk-through, we need to identify the subfolder for our surname initial. Our approach will be to create a list of all the subfolders and to loop through this list while checking if it's the correct folder. We will need a few variables for this process: an initial String
variable for storing the list of subfolders, a List
variable for assigning the folders to a list, and a String
variable for storing the allocated folder for our surname initial.
