Technical Architecture
As we look into the technical side of the architecture, we will focus on the specifics of protecting the services, solutions, products, applications, data, etc. within an organization. This is where we will implement controls in the environment and where hands-on configurations will occur. Here, we will see a big involvement from the engineering resources, as they will be the ones primarily executing the work needed to ensure the technological controls are implemented, meeting the requirements of the agreed-upon architecture for each of the pillars in the ZTA strategy.
Before we go into detail about each of the seven pillars, let’s cover what baselines are and why they are important. Baselines ensure that you implement a minimum recommended set of controls to meet compliance.
