Summary
In this chapter, we learned about IP addressing, DHCP, and DNS. We learned what is needed to get you started connecting on the internet and how it applies to you and your company. We were able to set up these programs to establish automatic DNS and DHCP via your very own servers. This allows you to control how your network is set up and how you connect to the intranet or internet. In the next chapter, we are going to learn about printers and email. The ability to set up these services is crucial to normal enterprise infrastructure and an important part of every company. Email servers and print servers are important as they allow the company to perform day-to-day business without faltering. I look forward to seeing you in the next chapter.
