The QGIS Cloud plugin
The QGIS Cloud plugin provides a user-friendly interface for publishing your data and maps with QGIS Cloud hosting. As it is a third-party plugin, we first need to install it.
If you have a proxy server, it is necessary to configure it first. Plugin Manager uses the same proxy settings as QGIS, so all you need to do is to go to Settings | Options and set up a proxy in the Network tab:
- Start QGIS and open Plugin Manager by going to Plugins | Manage and Install Plugins. Wait while QGIS receives a list of plugins from the repository.
- Switch to the All tab and start typing
cloud
in the Search field in order to filter the list of plugins, as shown in this screenshot: - Then, select the plugin and click on the Install plugin button. The download will take some time, so be patient. When it completes, you will see a message bar with the confirmation of the download, and you can now close Plugin Manager. More information about installing plugins can be found in the Extending functionality...
