Time for action - registering with the search engines
We will look at Google first, then Yahoo!, and then Bing.
1. Go to http://www.google.com/addurl/ and fill out the very simple form. Also consider signing up for Google Webmaster Tools, and explore the options and statistics that it provides.
2. Next, for Yahoo!, visit http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit. You will need to register first, but it is worth the effort!
3. Finally, visit Bing at http://www.bing.com/webmaster/WebmasterAddSitesPage.aspx. You will need a Windows Live ID. But if you don't already have one, it is free to create.
What just happened?
You might get your site indexed immediately, it might take months. Don't worry too much about it because there is no way to influence the search giants other than creating great, unique content. And, of course, we have already done that.
Now let's look at getting your first sale.
