Summary
In this chapter, we did a deep dive into Nautobot Jobs. We looked at how Nautobot Jobs are a great place to build out workflows for network automation, especially when you already have Python scripts you wish you could easily expose to your team and others within your organization. Beyond network automation tasks, we covered that Jobs can be used for verifying and validating data in Nautobot, with the option to create downloadable files. Beyond user and API-executed Jobs, we also looked at Job Hooks, Job buttons, and Job schedules and approvals, all of which provide enhanced functionality for teams looking to simplify the user experience for their network automation workflows.
In the next chapter, we will learn about the Nautobot app ecosystem and dive into all that Nautobot apps have to offer as you continue your network automation journey.
