Golden Config use cases

Let’s start by covering the main use cases for Nautobot Golden Config, keeping in mind that the end goal is to perform compliance or remediate (and configure) devices from Nautobot.

When getting started with Golden Config, one of the first things you need to consider and ask yourself is “What devices are in scope for Golden Config?” meaning which devices do you want to perform compliance on? You’ll see this list when you click Golden Config > Configuration Overview in the navbar:
