Time for action – converting a crossword to Moodle
First, create your crossword with JCross:
We next need to export the crossword as a SCORM activity. From the JCross main menu select File then slide down to Create Scorm 1.2 Package.
Back in your Moodle course, in the correct week I need to click on the Add an activity… drop-down and select SCORM package.
In the General box, give the activity a name and description, then choose the SCORM package file we just created:
Scroll down to Other settings and press the Show advanced button. I'm going to display the crossword in a new window and allow that window to be resized.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and press the Save and display button.
Here's how my crossword looks now that it has been converted to Moodle:

We've just followed the process of me converting my Jet Engine Crossword to Moodle. Here are the advantages of me doing so:
I don't have to worry about collecting pieces of paper, looking after them, marking them...
