The Timeline control displays notes, activities, activity feed posts, Yammer posts, and knowledge articles. The timeline is typically displayed in the middle pane of a three-column tab on a form.
You can configure which entities can be included in the timeline. Records are sorted by the last updated date. You can change the sort order to use the created date, which will not change when records are updated or assigned.
You can use the card form to control which fields are displayed within the timeline.
You are now able to customize the main form. The other form types are customized using the same tools but have some restrictions on what components can be used. We will start with the quick view form.
