Setting up policies
Policies are set of the configuration settings that are applied to set the behavior of how the session will work, how bandwidth will be used for better user experience, and how the enterprise data is kept secure at the same time. These policies are based on the user group, devices that they are using, and the type of connection.
We can force these policies to physical server, virtual servers, or to the users. Polices are applied in the following manner:
Local policies: They are local settings, which are set in the local group policy of the system on which the user is logging
Citrix Policies: These are also a set of settings and rules, which is applied at the site level in the Citrix Studio
Site GPO: These are a set of settings, which is applied in the active directory at the site level
Domain GPO: These are a set of settings, which is applied in the active directory at the domain level
