Embedding YouTube and other videos in your Joomla! website

With faster Internet connections, video has become a large part of the Internet's content; news, articles, and opinions are all making their way into video. You can customize your Joomla! templates to allow videos from Vimeo, YouTube, and other video streaming websites.

Getting ready

1. 1. Download the AllVideos extension from Joomla!'s official extensions directory at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/multimedia/video-players-a-gallery/812.

Note

Save the compressed file on your computer and install it from the Extensions | Install/Uninstall option. Once installed, you'll see the Install Plugin Success message and information about the AllVideos extension. The most common problem preventing extensions from installing is incorrect file permissions, particularly on the \tmp directory of your Joomla! installation.
