Summary
This was a lot to cover in one chapter, and we are just getting started. If you are new to IoT and architecture, we tried to keep it meaningful and understandable. If you are an old hat at this stuff, then hopefully, this was a decent refresher or allowed you to consider some alternatives to your current thinking.
At the end of the day, however, we have a good starting point, and we can build upon this as we walk through various examples. This architecture will evolve as we put some of the pieces together, either swapping in new services or connecting services in different ways to accomplish our goals. Our advice is to have fun with it for now as you connect the dots and consider alternatives based on your environment and your needs.
