Sametime Unified Telephony Lite client
The Sametime Unified Telephony Lite client was introduced in Sametime 8.5.2 and provides a standards-based SIP connection from the Sametime Connect client or embedded Sametime client to many voice and video systems. The following screenshot shows the Lite client from the Sametime Connect client:

The SUT Lite client creates a SIP session with the Sametime Media Manager in order to allow the client to make and receive audio and video calls across external numbers and systems. Any system providers to be utilized by SUT Lite must first be certified by IBM. The following is current list of certified and under review providers:
