Throughout this chapter, we looked at some of the most important elements comprising the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. We have reviewed the standard modules that form the default Dynamics 365 platform: Sales, Customer Service, Project Service Automation, Field Service, and Marketing. We also looked at the major components of the modules and how they relate to a specific module or work across multiple modules. We looked at entities and what an entity is in the context of Dynamics 365, and we reviewed dashboards, reports, and the default navigation throughout the application.
At this point, we should have an understanding of how everything ties together and what to look for when we need to customize a system.
