Using industry-aligned skills
The current learner experience you reviewed in the previous section works very well when you have a somewhat limited course catalog containing mostly courses defined internally by in-house authors or contractors. However, most large organizations also include third-party off-the-shelf content in the course catalog of their Prime accounts.
There are a lot of learning content providers in the marketplace. Many larger organizations subscribe to third-party learning content libraries in order to provide their workforce access to a wealth of learning resources. Some of the most famous providers include LinkedIn Learning (previously known as Lynda.com), Udemy, Open Classrooms, and Pluralsight.
