Controlling form access by user group, day, and/or time with the Watchman plug-in
The Watchman plugin was born from a user request for a form that was only "open" in office hours when there was someone around to reply. Hence the name "Watchman" for a gate-keeper of sorts. The code that was written for that user later formed a part of the plug-in.
Along with dates and times, the current version of the plug-in also lets you control access by user group so that you can, for example, limit a form to just Registered Users, or just Super Administrators.
Note
There is a development version that also allows you to block IP addresses, or address blocks, if you wish to. This may be released by the time you read this.
Getting ready
The Watchman plug-in will work with any form and has no special requirements.
How to do it...
1. In the Forms Manager, check the box by your form Name, then click the name of the plug-in in the left hand column, Watchman in this case, down at the bottom of the list.
