Creating a good resume
A resume is the first and only thing that the HR manager sees about the candidate, and it’s your task to make this information about you compelling enough to catch and hold their attention. Of course, I will provide examples of resumes, CVs, and cover letters later, but let’s first understand the difference between a resume and a CV.
Resume versus CV
The alignment of these terms can either be identical or vary, contingent upon the specific region where the job search is being conducted. Therefore, if we consider the regional distinctions, it is important to note that CV and resume may be perceived as distinct concepts.
A resume is needed to provide a brief summary of your work experience, skills, achievements, and education. In other words, a resume is necessary to give the recruiter and employer a general understanding of your work experience.
