Backing up using the AWS Backup service
AWS Backup is a fully managed backup service offered by AWS that provides a centralized and automated way to back up and restore data across AWS services. We covered more details on the importance of backing up critical data in Chapter 3. With AWS Backup, users can easily create backup plans that automatically protect their data across AWS resources such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS), Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
