Summary

In this chapter, we've talked about continuous delivery briefly and compared it with continuous integration and continuous deployment. We've also created RegistrationApiIntegrationTests to demonstrate one way of doing an integration test in Spring Boot. We also further improved our Maven build process by making executing the E2E test optional. We also created Dockerfile for building our Docker image, and Jenkinsfile to perform the continuous delivery of our application.

By now, we've built the first version of TaskAgile application using Vue.js, Spring Boot, and the MySQL database. Due to the scope of the book, we do not have enough time to finish all the user stories that we wrote in Chapter 4, TaskAgile - A Trello-like Task Management Tool. In the future, we will keep improving this open source application and deploying it to https://taskagile.com.
