Discovering and Creating Block Patterns
In the previous chapter, we learned what block patterns are and how they build up from blocks to more meaningful sections, making it easier to add to your content. In this chapter, we are going to learn together how to create block patterns.
This chapter will investigate the following:
- Creating your own patterns
- Sharing your patterns
- Creating your own patterns and sharing them in a theme
- Reusable blocks and synced patterns
- Detaching a pattern
- Using the reusable blocks section for patterns
We will learn how to create block patterns step by step. After that, we are going to move on to how to share them both within an existing site and others. Then we will wrap up by looking at reusable and synced patterns together. The result of all of this will be building on our understanding of patterns to apply them.
