Sharing a video
Sometimes it is helpful to share a video during a meeting. It’s great to share your desktop, whiteboard, or audio as you’ve learned in previous recipes, but videos are another awesome way to keep your attendees engaged and immersed in your presentation. Zoom can easily play video as well as audio for all your meeting participants.
How to do it…
- Start or join a Zoom meeting.
- Navigate to the Share Screen icon on your Meetings Control bar.
- Navigate to the Advanced tab and choose Video. It will be highlighted in blue once clicked.

Notice in Options that the Share Sound and Optimize for video clip are on by default.
If you don’t want sound in your video, you can uncheck the Share sound option.
