Now, let's preview our report. Using the sample data we previously illustrated, our report output shows two records in the following screenshot; one selected on the basis of Gender and the other on Age:
At this point, we have a report that runs and is useful. It can be enhanced to support more complex selection criteria. As usual, there are a number of different ways to accomplish essentially the same result. Some of those paths would be significantly different for the developer, but nearly invisible to the user. Some might not even matter to the next developer who has to work on this report.
