Presenting in collaborative mode

Presenting in collaborative mode is a great way to get keep everyone oriented along the way about the progress, or at the beginning of the session, to make sure everyone is on the same page.

How it works…

John clicks on Start presentation. Immediately I see the following message on my screen:

When John begins to present, I am invited to join as a viewer.

Now I have a choice to make; I can either choose to keep editing, or I can join to watch John present. I click on Join, and Prezi confirms. Take a look at the following screenshot:

After accepting the invitation, this label confirms that I am now watching John present.

If John wants to stop presenting, or if I don't want to watch the presentation any longer, a click on the pencil icon, as shown in the following screenshot, will bring the prezi back to edit mode (yep—the same icon for both of us):

The pencil icon is used by presenters and viewers alike to go back to edit mode.
