Introduction
A few of the lesser known features of Oracle Data Integrator involve the use of model diagrams. Having a comprehensive understanding of diagrams not only facilitates the development and maintenance of data models, but it enables developers to accelerate the development of basic interfaces.
The Oracle Data Integrator Graphical User Interface (ODI GUI) provides many features that enable a developer to quickly produce sophisticated solutions to complex problems. There is also a wealth of additional functionality available within the wide array of ODI Knowledge Modules. Unfortunately, many of these features are not as well known by the ODI community. The intent of this chapter is to demonstrate a few of the most overlooked features of the GUI and a few of the more interesting knowledge modules.
