To get the most out of this book

You will need a computer running either Linux and Docker or Microsoft Windows and Docker Desktop. You will need an Oracle account for downloading the Tuxedo version 12.2.2 installation. For Chapter 9, Working with Oracle Database, you will need an Oracle Database instance. You should also have at least basic Python and Linux knowledge for editing files and running commands. All the code examples were tested on Microsoft Windows 10 running Docker Desktop 2.5, Oracle Linux 8.2 with Python 3.6.8, and Tuxedo 12.2.2.

If you are using the digital version of this book, we advise you to type the code yourself or access the code via the GitHub repository (link available in the next section). Doing so will help you avoid any potential errors related to the copying and pasting of code.
