Chapter 3: Getting Started with Pimcore Admin UI
In this chapter, we will examine all the components and menus of the Pimcore administration interface, the "control room" from which you can do most of the operations necessary for the management of your website. By reading this book, you will be able to build a site from scratch.
For getting your website completed, Pimcore allows you to create bundles, modify core components, or overwrite most of the parts that make it up (from controllers to models, from views to routing rules, and so on). All of these aspects will be explored later in the book, but you cannot tackle these topics without first learning how to move through the web interface as a user.
In particular, in this chapter, we will discover the most useful tools to configure your site and where to find them on the administration page.
