Solutions are a set of components that provide the functionality that meets a set of business requirements.
When an environment is created, a solution named the Default solution is created that contains all the components in the system, and an empty solution named the Common Data Services Default solution is created.
You can modify the components of the system directly in the Default solution, add customized components to the Common Data Services Default solution, or create new solutions to package your customizations.
