Licensing and payment models
As you'll see in Chapter 14, Planning, Predicting, and Comparing Pricing, there are many different license acquisition and payment models available. Microsoft 365 has these different licensing and payment options so that they are suitable for their wide range of customer requirements. The main licensing service families and SKU bundles, as we discussed earlier in this chapter, are as follows:
- Microsoft 365 for home: There are two subscriptions available for personal use: Microsoft 365 Personal and Microsoft 365 Family. The main difference between them is the number of supported users, which corresponds to six in the Family plan versus one in the Personal plan.
