Having built the Horizon View infrastructure and its components in the previous chapters of this book, in this chapter, we will focus our attention on virtual desktops. We are going to look at how to create and configure the virtual hardware elements of virtual desktop machines, install a desktop operating system based on best practices for virtual desktop machines, and then configure that operating system to run at its optimum performance levels.
