Streamlining Onboarding and Boosting Engagement
We bought our second home during the pandemic in 2021 with the intention of renovating it to be our forever home. Before we even got the keys, we asked the seller whether we could bring in our general contractor to see the home and start getting ideas on how we would make it our own. If you have ever done a remodel, you would know how excited we were but also scared. It would be a nine-month project with our five-year-old, where we would live upstairs while they worked downstairs, then live downstairs while they worked upstairs, while we moved things in and out of the storage unit.
We renovated our first home with a different contractor, and the aspect we appreciated most about this contractor was how they mapped out the entire project from beginning to end. You always need to make room for the unexpected, but their transparency and regular cadence of updates gave us peace through this process. We will never forget the project manager...
