Setting up Qlik AutoML

Since Qlik AutoML is a SaaS solution, there is minimal setup required. In this section, we will look at the necessary steps to utilize AutoML. We will assume that a Qlik Cloud tenant is up and running. The Basic tier of Qlik AutoML is included as part of the Qlik Cloud subscription license. We will take a deep dive into Qlik AutoML itself in Chapter 8. To prepare our environment for that chapter, the following steps are needed:

Navigate to Management Console in Qlik Cloud and open the Settings tab.
Under the Feature control section, make sure that Machine learning endpoints is enabled, as seen in the following screenshot:

Select Analytics Services and create a shared space called ML experiments. This will be our space for all the work done in Chapter 8.
