Cloud Identity Engine

The CIE is a free service that you can activate from the Palo Alto HUB at https://apps.paloaltonetworks.com. In this section, we’ll be using two portals at the same time, one for CIE and one for Azure, so to make things easy on yourself, I recommend you keep two browser windows open so you can easily copy information from one window to the next.

To get started with the CIE, log into the HUB and click Activate in the Cloud Identity box in Explore Apps from Palo Alto Networks:

Next, you will need to associate the CIE to the appropriate Customer Support Account instance in case your account has been linked to multiple customer accounts and Region for where the CIE will be active. You will be offered the region(s) available for CIE to be deployed that are closest to your Prisma Access tenant:
