Global configuration policies

Most of the policies and configurations are assigned to servers by assigning those policies and configurations to service profiles associated with physical servers. There are a few global policies and configurations for UCS infrastructure that are not assigned to servers but are necessary for proper functioning of all the components.

These policies and configurations include the following:

Chassis/FEX Discovery Policy
Rack Server Discovery Policy
Rack Management Connection Policy
Power Policy
MAC Address Table Aging Policy
DNS Server
Time Zone Management
SNMP configuration

He is also responsible for developing public/private cloud integration strategies, customers' cloud computing architecture visions, future state architectures, and implementable architecture roadmaps in the context of the public, private, and hybrid cloud computing solutions that Oracle can offer. He has also authored six industry-leading books on virtualization, SDN, and physical compute, among others. He has six successful patents and six more patents pending at the US PTO. He has also authored numerous research articles.
