We've reached the final chapter of the book, which took us on a long and rich journey into the field of data science and the Microsoft SQL Server. We have mostly focused on performing tasks in data science with the SQL Server toolset—either a T-SQL language, or additional services that are available with SQL Server, as the SQL Server is a important component of enterprise infrastructures based on Microsoft Servers. It's not the only choice for data science, and there are of course more tools available out there.
The aim of the book was to introduce a platform that can offer most of the tasks related to data science, and in this last chapter we have tried to uncover what's coming with the new version of SQL Server for data science and how to work with data science projects in Microsoft Azure.
