Setting Up Ubuntu on AWS EC2

In this section, we will go through setting up an EC2 instance on the cloud running an Ubuntu AMI and look at the various settings that we can customize according to our requirements.

The Ubuntu AMI

As we have seen in the previous chapters, setting up an EC2 instance can be pretty easy and accomplished quickly with a few mouse clicks. AWS Marketplace has a number of AMIs that are available ready-made for deployment.
